Great news from NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson! The Jimmie Johnson Foundation selected The Zepp Children’s Foundation for their Helmet of Hope Initiative. This year, Jimmie will wear the Helmet of Hope during the Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway on October 11, 2009 featuring our name and logo. ZCF will also receive a grant for $1,048, be featured on the back of the Helmet of Hope t-shirt and will receive proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt.

MD Commission on Autism On May 7, 2009 Senate Bill 963/House Bill 503 sponsored by Delegate Nic Kipke (R) from Anne Arundel County was signed by Governor Martin O'Malley (D) to create the Commission!

Sally Zepp testifies in Annapolis, MD. On February 17, 2009 Sally Zepp testified before the House of Delegate's Health and Government Operations Committee in Annapolis, Maryland on forming the Maryland Commission on Autism. By forming this Commission, the State of Maryland will be able to demonstrate a sincere effort in helping families all across Maryland who are struggling to find resources and assistance for their loved one on the Autism Spectrum. The Commission would develop a statewide plan for an integrated system of training and treatment from adolescence to adulthood.
